While exploring the elegant limestone alleyways in MXCD, we came across urgent neon rows of xeroxed Lucha Libre flyers. The fearsome fighters shown flexing and flaunting reminded us that masked heroes and villains make for the most captivating storylines. Drawing from this memory, we created the Luchador chocolate bonbon series. But it has to be noted--these little wrestlers came out way, way more adorable than their full-sized, sweaty counterparts.

Celebrate Mexican-American culture this Cinco de Mayo with these cute Luchador bonbons! Each lil’ gladiator is 3D printed in a lime-flavored sugar shell and stuffed with luscious tepache (caramelized pineapple) ganache. Sugar Lab recommends pairing these with coffee, bourbon, and/or a spandex yellow leotard.
